Brian is a respected leader in both technology and propane industries. With a background in ministry and hospitality, he now serves as CEO of One-Tank, prioritizing people in business and leveraging his expertise in production and management.

Beyond his CEO role, Brian actively contributes to industry advocacy as a Board Member for the Missouri Propane Gas Association and participant in committees for the National Propane Gas Association. His diverse experience and dedication make him a valuable asset in shaping the future of both sectors.

Cheryl Heppard

Cheryl Heppard is a serial entrepreneur who joined One-Tank in July 2022. With more than 15 years of marketing experience, she specializes in sales strategy, brand development, public relations, and creative marketing initiatives.

Since joining One-Tank, Cheryl has developed a strong understanding of the propane industry, helping drive the company’s marketing strategy, customer engagement, media relations, and industry partnerships. She grew up with firsthand exposure to the HVAC industry through her father’s heating and cooling business, giving her an early appreciation for the importance of energy service providers.

Cheryl resides in suburban Detroit.

Rick Humphrey

Industry Advisor
Rick Humphrey brings more than 40 years of experience in the propane industry, with expertise spanning marketing, operations, and technology innovation. He has held leadership roles at both the state and national level, including serving as Chairman of the Missouri Propane Gas Association and contributing to the National Propane Gas Association..

Humphrey played a key role in advancing industry legislation, including the creation of the Missouri Propane Education and Research Council (MO-PERC), where he served as its first Chairman and helped establish programs that continue to support propane education, safety, and market development.

As Chairman and CEO of North American Satellite Corporation, Humphrey led the development of One-Tank™, a satellite-based remote tank monitoring system, along with SmartHome™ solutions. He holds 192 patent claims across multiple international markets, reflecting his focus on innovation in tank monitoring and data analytics.

Sheri Foley

Senior Software Engineer, Lead Architect
Sheri Foley is a Senior Software Engineer and Lead Architect who resides in Kansas City, Missouri. She joined One-Tank in 2024, and is passionate about building software that helps propane providers better serve their customers. With over 10 years of experience writing software, her goal is to develop technology that helps make a positive impact across the propane industry.
